I’ve always loved hearing Peter Fahrenholtz’ wonderful and very authentic old time piano. Enjoy Peters technique and Jelly Roll Morton like, but stille unique, style in this version of Chicago Break Down.

If you close your eyes you would think that you hear Fats Waller, James P. Johnson, Willie the Lion or other famous names playing when you hear young Stephanie Trick from US. She is already an internationally recognized master of stride, ragtime, boogie and swing piano! Enjoy this great version of Johnson’s Harlem Strut, played in a “piano bar” (just look 🙂 ) in Switzerland.

I heard Charles Kunz at my grandparents place as a child, and I always loved his soft and rhythmic style of playing and never forgot his sound. Now, many years later, I found this wonderful medley on YouTube – enjoy!

This very fast version of “Handful of Keys” is not very known. It was played by Fats Waller in the “1935 Transcriptions” sessions which has a lot of songs played by Fats solo, or in duo with a clarinet, and these recordings are maybe some of the best piano recordings ever made with Fats Waller.
