This very fast version of “Handful of Keys” is not very known. It was played by Fats Waller in the “1935 Transcriptions” sessions which has a lot of songs played by Fats solo, or in duo with a clarinet, and these recordings are maybe some of the best piano recordings ever made with Fats Waller.
